My love and extensive studies of the anatomy, and how expression and gestures reflect emotion, are strong attributes in creating my vision.

Figure work, portraits, animals, my memory. Anything really. I’m a people person so I love creating different types of expression and emotions.
Where do you find inspiration?Throughout my travels in life people all over the world fascinate me. Cultures, history, sports figures, photographs my daughter takes, and just about anything that shows activity. The anatomy itself has always fascinated me and has always been my interest since I was a young man. The first figures I ever drew was my younger brother’s rattle that had Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs dancing around a tree done in 1943. I was only about 9 years old. I actually still have that drawing too, somewhere
What would you do with $25,000?To be honest, I would fix my bathroom because I recently fell due to water damage. And I’d like to travel a little bit with some students to create some pieces outdoor (en plein air) to inspire them as well as myself. I still attend weekly life drawing classes and I enjoy it very much. I’m 93 yrs old and have never really sold my work because I tend to get attached, but my daughter has convinced me and I think it’s time to share. Thank you for this opportunity to share and good luck to everyone.
