It’s a patient, Healing process. weaving an image out of 1000s of tiny, intentional scratches. I’m not a patient person, but I'm trying.

I had to do a lot of professional work, soulless slop. Now, I just like Drawing and writing, not what I see but stripping away the polish to find the blood and bone of a subject.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspirations are a collision between the altar and the underground. I love the stylized lines of ancient Church art, but I dragged that holiness through the mess of the adolescent brain. Visually, the dramatic shadows of Frank Miller, the detailed ink-work of Berni Wrightson and the raw humor of Robert Crumb. What puts ink to paper, delta Blues and early Punk music played very loud with lots of black coffee. ButMost of all, God, family, and The Repose Hieromonk Seriphim Rose.
What would you do with $25,000?upgrading to industrial-grade digital tools and a heavy-duty printing setup to self-publish my own graphic novels and zines.
