Creating art lets me turn my inner thoughts into something tangible. I love the freedom to experiment and find beauty in the unexpected.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love lowriding photography because it’s about more than just cars; it’s about capturing a rich cultural legacy and the incredible craftsmanship behind every detail. There is something deeply rewarding about documenting the way light reflects off custom candy paint and intricate chrome, or freezing the kinetic energy of a car mid-hop. Through my lens, I get to tell the story of pride, community, and the artistry that goes into these rolling masterpieces.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration for lowriding photography comes from the deep-rooted culture of the community. Watching families come together to celebrate their heritage and seeing the pride owners take in their "rolling art" motivates me to capture those stories.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won $25,000, my top priority would be supporting my dad through his heart surgery and recovery. I’d use the money to cover any medical bills and specialized home care he might need, ensuring he can focus entirely on healing without the stress of finances.
