Where do you find inspiration?I spent 30 years as a concert show designer, production manager, and audio engineer at a very high level. Much of the science behind photography shares the same principals as concert lighting and even audio. I think of photography as capturing and manipulating light. Both with concert design and photography my goals have been the same. Create something that moves someone or speaks to them.
What would you do with $25,000?I am member and recently been asked to be on the advisory board of the Nashville Creatives Club. A non profit group that cultivates a safe space for creatives to work together. I would utilize a portion of the money to further more creative community based initiatives like NCC. Cultivate safe environments for creatives to really express their visions. The balance would be used to further expand the geographical range I work in.
