Painting, filmmaking, and writing are the only ways I replenish dopamine. All are my existential Prozac and wouldn't know what else to do.

Whether through my painting, films, or writing, I strive to make art that both reveals and contradicts itself as it is played out. Sometimes I present blatant reactions to our social environment, while sometimes I portray absurdist disassociations. I explore themes that address humanity’s lack of critical thought, human fallibility, and recurring miscommunication, then weave them into portraits of sardonic and comical, existential nightmares.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through the brutal, frail, and complex world around us and try to analyze all of this suffering to extract moments that help me in the least, process and drive on. Throughout the literal artistic process I find much inspiration in music, my contemporaries art, and artistic collaboration.
What would you do with $25,000?I would put $6000 away to help add to my safety fund, $4000 for health insurance, $10,000 towards visiting Madrid and Portugal (to both see the Prado for the first time and shoot a short film with a dear friend and past collaborator who moved to Porto a couple of years ago. The remaining $5000 I would put towards producing a handful of variety shows in the St. Louis, MO area where in the past, I have curated local artists supporting evenings with artists like Trevor Dunn, David Yow and JD Pinkus
