My songs are the children I always wanted, but never had. I've never had my own biological kids, and my music fills that void for me.

I love writing and creating original songs from scratch. I started as a poet at age 9, when I wrote my first poem called, "Alone In My Room". The week I wrote that poem, I started humming a melody in my head and I would eventually turn my first poem into my first original song. It was a moment I'll never forget because, since then, I've been a singer and songwriter.
Where do you find inspiration?I'm inspired by the positive impact my music has on the listener. It's a vulnerable moment for me whenever I share my art, but that moment gives birth to relationships that last a life time. The connection between me and my audience, gives me life. It keeps me wanting more of that type of engagement.
What would you do with $25,000?As a Polynesian, I hope to establish a local recording studio for young aspiring singers and songwriters from my community. There's so much talent amongst my people and I'd love the opportunity to inspire and empower our youth, by way of the arts.
