I use art as a form of expression for what words cannot fully capture. I’m drawn to the way it evolves from nothing into something lasting.

I love working with oils, especially on board when I plan to use palette knives, as the surface gives me greater control and texture. Canvas, on the other hand, offers versatility, allowing me to move freely between brushes and knives to achieve different effects. I also enjoy exploring a variety of mediums, including colored pencils, pastels, and charcoal. Each one presents its own unique challenges, which I embrace as opportunities to grow and refine my craft with every finished piece.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the natural world, especially in landscapes and wildlife. There’s something compelling about capturing their quiet beauty, movement, and emotion. I’m also inspired by the process itself, how each medium behaves differently and challenges me to grow. Beyond that, inspiration often comes from within. Emotions, fleeting moments, and the need to express what words cannot fully hold all find their way into my work. Even the act of creating, watching something emerge from nothing
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest the money in my art practice by upgrading to high quality oils, boards, canvases, and refine other toolkits. I would also invest in building a clean portfolio website, professional photos of my work, and apply to a few local galleries. And also explore small scale prints of my landscapes and wildlife pieces to create an income stream without giving up my originals. Lastly, I would set aside a portion of the amount for creative freedom.
