I love creating intuitive, layered mixed media paintings that evolve through process rather than a plan. I build, scrape, and reveal—allowing each layer to guide the next. It’s in the messy middle where emotion and story surface, creating work that feels both deeply personal and universally human.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the emotional landscapes we all carry—moments of uncertainty, growth, joy, and transformation. My own experiences shape the work, but I’m equally inspired by what connects us. The process itself fuels me too—the unexpected marks, the messy middle, and the quiet moments where something hidden begins to emerge.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in deepening my practice through a residency and mentorship, while also creating a dedicated studio and storage space to support my growing body of work. It would allow me to expand my materials, take meaningful creative risks, and share my work more widely—reaching others through art rooted in connection, resilience, and joy.
