I like to use different mediums within my work to understand how they are able to coexist within a masterpiece and the ability to help relay the story I’m trying to tell.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration all around me truly but it’s through listening to people stories, questions begin to be answered, reflection happens, and an acknowledgment of someone story. Everyone has a story to tell and to tell it in a creative way makes me want to give platform for someone who isn’t always able to be seen or heard.
What would you do with $25,000?Receiving $25,000 would be the catalyst to transform my creative house, Marx Madness, into a self-sustaining powerhouse. My work sits at the intersection of film, fashion, design, and sculpture, exploring how diverse mediums coexist to tell compelling stories. This funding would provide the critical technical infrastructure needed to bring these ambitious, multisensory narratives to life on a much larger scale.
