Such ephemeral love, cherished beauty can only be captured by the marvelous colours of henna and the intricate designs that talks about culture, theme, your presence of soul; and reminds you to take a pause, take notice and appreciate. This is why I love henna, it is a community building superpower, and I am thankful to be blessed with it.
Where do you find inspiration?Culture, flow, deep breaths and artists around the world. There’s no such thing as copyright in henna designs. The patterns flow as the henna oozes out the cone. My inspiration comes from my family, my siblings and my people. Words, songs and thoughts that linger, reflect on how I move my hand. My emotions are reflected on the curved lines, the poetry of unspoken words. A inspiration that comes from within, from my breathing reflections or conversations with the person sitting in front of me
