I create art because it expresses the inner world of mine that doesn’t translate directly through verbal language. It’s a spiritual practice

Favorite type of art to create is abstract because it pushes me (and the viewer) to engage to think beyond recognition alone. It allows us to follow inner worlds subconsciously and arrive at a place initiated by the art. The options are limitless and so art the interpretations which means I get to explore 3 dimensions/infinity and create artwork that documents that exploration.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in my kids, New York City, hip hop, other artists, architecture or simply wandering aimlessly with a camera. Everyday life provides more than enough inspiration and the real challenge is finding enough time to work through every idea that comes to mind.
What would you do with $25,000?I would pay off some debt, invest in a studio space and furnish it with any additional supplies and equipment I need. I would also invest in some apps that I’ve been designing. Finally, it would also be used to establish an exhibition in New York.
