I create immersive, character-driven oil paintings that form a living world. Each piece is part of a larger emotional landscape-rooted in love, memory, and human experience. My characters are extensions of myself, carrying feeling more than narrative. I'm most drawn to building environments where people don't just look at the work, but feel like they've entered it.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in my internal world—my emotions, relationships, and lived experiences. Everything I create comes from feeling first. I've always thought in images, so translating emotion into visual form is natural to me. My work is less about observing the outside world and more about giving shape to what's happening within it.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the funding to complete and present a fully immersive exhibition of my work. This includes materials, installation elements, and creating an environment where people can step into the world I’ve been building over years. This isn’t a concept I’m proposing—it’s a world I’ve already built and continue to live inside of. It’s at a point now where it’s outgrown me and wants to be experienced. My goal is to make that experience accessible, emotionally impactful, and free to the public.
