I use gouache paint on watercolor paper to paint paintings of people. I try to capture their emotions more than their likenesses, then the paintings take on a character of their own.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in those memories and moments that should not be forgotten. From a woman peacefully lost in her own thoughts to the moments that make us laugh, there are so many incredible experiences in life that should be celebrated and captured, it reminds us to live life to the fullest, and it can give us hope in our moments of darkness.
What would you do with $25,000?I would travel and create more experiences to serve as inspiration for my art. I would paint more, and I would love to spend more time with family.
