My favorite art to create is abstract, specifically acrylic paintings. Adding other mediums like charcoal and ink is also often incorporated. I have found that while using acrylic paint, I have more freedom to move quickly and sporadically, without worrying about when my paint will dry.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw most of my inspiration from God’s creation, the world around us. The greens and natural colors of the trees, soil, flowers, and nature in general are places I mostly look for new ideas. Artists that have personally inspired me over the years include creatives like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Joan Mitchell, and Pablo Picasso.
What would you do with $25,000?Having the opportunity to be blessed with $25,000 would truly be life altering for myself, and those that I love. With this specific amount of money, I would first open a savings account and use a portion of it to pay off my student loans. Another portion would go to my home church for events like feeding the homeless, Grace Resources, and Operation Christmas Child for less fortunate children during the holidays. I would then put money aside to secure a studio space to freely create!
