Art expression is a space where I feel like I'm floating. I feel as though I could paint the world. And I would.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is oil paintings and clay sculpting. I’m drawn to both because they allow me to shape emotion through color, on canvas or through touch.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday life, especially in nature, community, and quiet moments of reflection. Gardening, music, and human connection all influence my work. I’m inspired by transformation. How can something so simple become meaningful? I carry that into my art by creating spaces where others can feel, create, and grow.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in growing Raven’s Art HTX into a creative hub by upgrading equipment, securing a larger workspace, and launching structured art workshops. I plan to host monthly community events and collaborate with local artists to provide accessible programs in painting and sculpting. This funding would allow me to serve more people, especially youth and emerging artists, while creating a sustainable space for creativity and connection.
