My favorite type of art to create is acrylic pour paintings, they are messy little science experiments full of expression. Learning to control the viscosity of your paint and the movement of your paintings is all part of the fun.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration is easily found in the mixed media of acrylic pour paintings because it's quite chaos all in one. I feed my inspiration through deeply felt emotions within my body. I also like to incorporate meaningful words & phrases into some of my art pieces to help inspire others too. Lettering is an added challenge that made me appreciate paintings I had otherwise deemed not worthy. We tend to be our own worst critic, loving the process makes you inspired by the art itself, no matter what.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it on my and my son's future by starting an art forward, healing business to help others learn how they can heal themselves through art. I have been a Caregiver for over 20 years and I thoroughly enjoy helping people. I believe my calling is to find something that brings me joy and share it with the world. Art brings me joy all the time and I would love to share that experience with others.
