I create art that speaks to me and, I hope, will speak to others. My work carries a social conscience and forges meaningful connections.

I’m most drawn to creating expressive, mixed-media work that tells human stories, especially those that might otherwise go unseen. My process is usually intuitive, often layering materials like graphite, ink, pastel, and other elements to reflect the emotional depth and complexity of the people I’m depicting.
Where do you find inspiration? All around me. Art has taught me a new way to see. At the heart of my work is a desire to reveal the humanity in every subject, as well as the tension between struggle and dignity, suffering and beauty. Ultimately, I desire to create art that gives voice to things felt but not always spoken aloud.
What would you do with $25,000?I would treat my wife to a great dinner and reinvest the money into making more art.
