I love creating art because it allows me to share the best parts of myself in a physical form.

My favorite type of art to create is art for other people. Commission based work as always been my favorite because it is so special to make something that comes from within myself that also has meaning to the person its being created for. Whether a portrait of a loved one, a live wedding painting, pet portrait, or another photo of a memory - it is so special to me to be able to create something one of a kind for my clients. I love working in all mediums and am always up for trying new mediums!
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in music and memories. Most of the artwork I have created for myself has been based in my own emotions, sometimes in response to music, memories, or emotional experiences I have had. When I create for others it is such a fascinating experience to create artwork based on memories that are not my own. To get to know the most intimate details of a client's reference photo, whether a portrait of a loved one, childhood home, or memorable landscape is the most remarkable feeling.
What would you do with $25,000?With 25,000 I would upgrade some of my artistic equipment to make my home studio a more comfortable space to create. I would also also share a good portion of it with my mom to create a workshop for her to create in and for anything else she has dreamed of doing but hasn't been able to do. My mom has always been my biggest supporter, my whole life she has put her kids first. To be able to give back to her and return just a shred of the support she has given me my whole life would be so special.
