I love to create art because I believe it to be my life’s purpose. Color, line, texture, composition and the creative process sustain me.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I create brightly colored and highly textured abstract paintings and assemblages.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in both the outer, material world and my inner being.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to propel my artistic journey into the future. I am a long-time cancer patient and survivor of metastatic and recurrent myxofibrosarcoma. I mounted an exhibition of my work at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL, in 2014. I would love to give back and organize a similar project and fundraiser.
