I feel as though creation is an act of spiritual transformation. To be felt, to seek beauty by transmuting feelings.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Well first of all that’s a hard question to answer. I have fallen in love with every art medium I’ve worked with over the years but I would have to say my favorite is acrylic painting and a mixture of fast drying oil paints. I love crochet next to those & I would say sculpture and illustration.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere. In people and the spontaneous nature of life and in music and the endless spectrum of creation. But truly through the expansive internal landscape that is human emotion.
What would you do with $25,000?I would hit the road with my creations and do art shows and festivals with my friends. I’d screen print my own tee shirts for my Raya June Designs crew and I’d create a collection of fashion, interior design decor and fine art. I’d also create community groups like Elysian Intuitive Art for enrichment for my town and for lovers of the arts and host & participate in local events like the annual library Art show. I would donate to the A.L.S. foundation in memory of my father Ron.
