My favorite pieces to create are animal oil paintings, particularly horses. I admire their strength, elegance, and personality, and I find great joy in translating those qualities onto canvas in a way that feels both expressive and true to life
Where do you find inspiration?I draw a lot of inspiration from the natural scenes that surround me in the Midwest, especially from life on my farm. Being closely connected to nature gives me an endless source of ideas and inspires me to create work that reflects its beauty and sense of peace
What would you do with $25,000?I would use $25,000 to make my studio larger so I could offer art lessons and build a space for creativity and learning. I live in a small town with very few art opportunities, and I would love to create a program that inspires and helps grow other young artists like me.
