I love to paint anything that brings appreciation to the small joys in life. Be it the contrast in lighting on a plant, a car, or even a made up scenery. I use colors in a way of reproducing how much beauty nature gives us in any moment of the day. I’m constantly observing lights and darks and shapes in daily tasks that often don’t last long at all. So in a sense- I like to somehow freeze those moments of bliss in my work.
Where do you find inspiration?All glory to God for giving me this ability. I find inspiration in everything I can so I try to slow down and take mental notes often. It can be on my morning walks, in the sky, in the garden, or I look to get inspired from other peoples photography. I like to have a view from someone else’s perspective that I may not have explored yet. I think keeping an open mind to change and embracing one’s differences is helpful in any aspect of life.
What would you do with $25,000?I would explore ways to help others with that money and build a network so that art is an outlet for anyone seeking peace and some sort of therapy. Art has been my outlet so I’d love to share that with others and dedicate my life to it.
