Art doesnt ask for generalizations, a work of art above all is a celebration of the particular, peculiar, and the percieved.life imitates art
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to make art that is created in community. Currently enjoying stamp making with a crew of organic farmers. Each intrepreting our own ideas and printing together on one big page. Printmaking has such endless possibilities.
Where do you find inspiration?I find most inspiration from nature and human nature, emotions. But also in the process of creation itself. I believe the act painting and drawing, printing is a language of give and take and the results are products of mistakes and challenged intentions. The stuff of beauty and wonder.
What would you do with $25,000?I would create pop up art galleries! Traveling art shows that invite memebers of small communites to sumbit art, poetry photography, to be apart of the gallery that is locted in the woods, or in a park or a beach. Somewhere accessable to everyone! Local muscians too! With the money I can create portable infrastructure, donate to the facilites, offer prizes!
