I create art to speak truth into the world.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My goal is to tell a truth through a visual journey that I layout in composition and classical symbolism. While I am always working to perfect the translation of my vision, the development of my painting is toward a “Fauve realist surrealism”. “Enter my philosophical puzzle box” is my invitation to the world.
Where do you find inspiration? My art comes from deep inside. It emerges as I walk. I see visions through my vision both experientially and imaginatively. I have always been a source of wild ideas and useful creations, solutions and inventions. My greatest inspiration is translating heavy social concepts into a visual story. The human experience is a singular gift of suffering and triumph. I hope my art helps people to value their humanness and time on earth.
What would you do with $25,000?I would upgrade my artspace and improve the quality of materials that I use. Instead of cotton and acrylic, upgrade to linen and oil. I like incorporating lights and higher tech into some of my work. This money would help me experiment with integrating elevated forms of cutting edge media. Also, entering competitions is expensive. I’d like to do more promotion of my artwork through online platforms. I think I just spent $25,000 in this paragraph!
