Reflecting on something beautiful is a pause in a world of chaos. It’s freezing a moment to be admired. Savoring life worth living.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Sexy art can be fun. I feel my art is pretty sexy without the need to be overtly provocative and in your face, edgy, political, blaring, loud, obnoxious, grotesque, obscene, etc. My life is full enough. I just wanna look at something beautiful sometimes. These images resonate with my soul. I like a sense of symmetry, Balance, calm and serenity. Sure, maybe people who are bored really need something that pushes their emotion or desire, but as I said, my life is full. Enjoy.
Where do you find inspiration? As a woman who struggles with a disability, the pain and feelings of suffering in life can become unbearable at times. Reflection on a moment of beauty can be a grounding moment. Each instant frozen in space and time is a revelation of self. This recognition of self is healing. Creation has brought me comfort through the lens. Somehow, the cyclical nature of expression in art bounces between Creator and Viewer, opening a portal of the mind through which self-awareness can grow.
What would you do with $25,000?Well, I guess I would use the funding to advance my budding art business platform. Invest in myself, and watch my vision grow. 25K is a drop in the bucket to the 1.6M I'm manifesting. I would love to start an organic food company, focusing on healthy snacks that kids will eat. I will love to open my own gallery, dedicated to aiding budding artists gaining exposure. Essentially, I plan to establish a financially secure future for my children.
