I create to bridge the human experience with the natural world—from moss-covered earth to blue-lit nights. My work explores how trauma shapes our reality and how sobriety clarifies our purpose. Driven by a need to protect our future existence, I channel the "ache" of love into paper and pigment. Where spirit lacks connection, I place hues of joy, using storytelling to meet the moment and transform raw emotion into a visual home for the soul.

When I create, I feel a pulling. Like threads from my soul seeking an outlet. Art is sometimes a beautiful lightness rushing into water, attempting to catch innocence leaving; blooming in hues. Maybe the point of my story is hiding in the colors revealing the negative spaces. All shades- truths in the lies, blanks, and blots left to say- I was. And, that I'm STILL Human. I am hoping to relate. To collect more of my purpose and help it grow. The visuals made are free and universal.

Winning this contest would be a vital catalyst for my vision. My first priority is securing a sanctuary—a home and studio specifically designed to manage my fibromyalgia. By stabilizing my physical environment and prioritizing recovery, I gain the freedom to create without limits. ​Once grounded, I will collaborate with my sisters to launch a Minneapolis youth program. We will use art and storytelling to help children navigate trauma, providing them with essential tools to self-soothe and heal.
