I create artwork because it's how I relate my emotions to the world. I'm also an environmental enthusiast and animal lover.

Comic books and illustrations about fantasy and nature. Animals are usually the stars of the stories I create. I love to capture the essence of my characters either in action or emotion. I studied Disney and Warner Brothers animations that featured animals who displayed emotional responses and practiced in my sketchbook from there. Comic books or "sequential art" has given me a creative escape through rich story telling and great art to go with it!
Where do you find inspiration?I take inspiration from my environments, animals, and people I know in my personal life. I go on a lot of walks and get ideas for characters and world building. I look at different pets like dogs are cats and get character design ideas for a specific animal. I take photographs of zoo animals for reference. For personalities, I take various traits from friends and family and mold them into a character I'm building. Also, conversations amongst different people is how I can get ideas as well.
What would you do with $25,000?I would donate $1,000 to the Connecticut Humane Society. I donate charity pet portraits for fundraisers and events to buy necessities for the shelter pets. I feel shelter pets need the help and care they really need. For the rest of the prize money, it would go toward my art business I'm pursuing.
