What is your favorite type of art to create?

Abstract multimedia acrylic painting is where I began. I love that each piece is experienced differently—seen and felt in unique ways by every viewer. Art isn’t one-size-fits-all; its subjectivity is its freedom. Lately, I’ve been expanding into drawing and capturing how I see the world through my phone camera.

Where do you find inspiration?

Music, poetry, and energy guide me. I experience synesthesia—sound becomes color and shape—so many of my paintings are born from songs. Lately, poetry and the energy of others help shape custom pieces. My photography is drawn to lines, color, age, and liminal moments—the right image seems to glow. Drawing is where I push my skills and build new worlds.

What would you do with $25,000?

I grew up where the arts were the first to be cut—and I’m seeing it happen again. I’d use $25,000 to start a nonprofit makerspace for youth and young adults: a safe, inclusive place to create, explore any medium, and be seen. The goal is to build a sustainable foundation that restores access to art where it’s often the first thing lost.
