My favorite art to create is painting landscapes with oil paint. Expressionistic vibrant landscapes with thick, juicy impasto oil paint marks and brushstrokes. Mixing the oil paint is spiritual for me. Dancing with my brushes to a blank canvas stirring up the magic that's about to happen. Chatting with and allowing the painting to create itself is a gift from the Universe. Paintings can take my breath away and bring a tear to my eye.. and that is the art I strive to create.

I am a nomadic forester in the rugged woods next to the most beautiful lake in the world, Lady Superior. I live in my 7' x 22' RV in which I have converted the back half to my art studio. I find inspiration in the landscapes that I explore wherever I may be. I engulf myself in the surrounding atmosphere as if I had never seen a sunset before in my life. I spent over 2 decades in blacked out alcoholism. Today 4 years alcohol free I find inspiration in the simple things I missed and I paint them.

With $25,000 I would put money down on a bit of land with a sunset view. This way I could have a home base for my RV. I would put money into building a studio so that I could paint the magical sunsets that unfold in front of me. I would continue my nomadic lifestyle and I am very content painting small scale in my RV studio, however I dream of the day when I can stand back at a large canvas and go to town. Painting is a passion for me that only my heart and soul could explain.
