Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

I do a lot of water color and color pencil it is colorful and vibrant with so much depth and movement. It makes you feel alive and brings such emotions when you are making and viewing it. There is magic when your bush develops a mind of its own or your pencil begins to crate path ways that tell a story. You get to read the story as its coming to life before your very eyes. Every stroke has a reason sometimes you may not be able to see that reason till you take a look at the bigger picture.

Where do you find inspiration?

I do a lot of eyes because they are the windows to the soul. Your eyes never lie when you're sad, mad or happy they can't hide it. The eyes also tell your story, you can ready everyone's story when you look into there eyes cause you feel it. My art is a way for me to display my heart and soul to the world around me it tells my story every second every moment is hidden in my art. The good, the bad if you just look deep enough you will find me hidden in the lines of every piece I bring to life.

What would you do with $25,000?

If I won the $25,000 I would love to open up my own studio and help the artists hidden away find a place to call home to be themselves. I didn't know where I belonged till I met my art teacher in third grade Mrs. Clemens she saw something in me and helped me embrace it. She gave me a home and place to call my own so I want to do the same and give other artists who feel lost a place to grow and embrace their love and craft. I hope to change the world like Mrs. Clemens changed mine thank you.
