Growing up I thought I was awful at anything creative. Despite this, I always felt the need to create. Art simply feels like home.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I'm a photographer! I love the challenges that come with trying to capture life through one image. Getting people to care and feel with a photo is one of the biggest challenges. A millisecond could be the difference between a bad a good photo.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration based on where I am physically but also in what part of life I am in. Recently I did a project based on the juxtaposition that is Vancouver as city. This is one the most expensive places to live, and yet has such an issue with drug addiction and homelessness.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to pay for the rest of my bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. I still have a year left and it would be a great help. If possible I would use the rest to grow my photography business.
