I love using multiple techniques and colors into a work of art, regardless of the medium. The interdisciplinary and dimensional constructs of this type of exploration gives the work deeper meaning and substance. Additionally, as an artist, l am an oracle, forecasting a world of dynamic relevance and purposeful beauty. I seek to enhance and engage the viewer at all time; thus inviting them into my creative process. Finally, this is my FAVORITE THING, touching another soul through the artwork!
Where do you find inspiration?I am not sure how to answer this question as breathing is always my starting point! Every facet of life holds the key to its secrets and as a creator god in partnership with what is not immediately seen, l am always inspire to uncover and explore what is in front of me. This opens up and widens the palate and canvas from which l begin the journey of PLAY. The lighthearted spirit that creating something from a simple notion, rocks my world and l enter willingly. This is ART. This is ME being ART!
What would you do with $25,000?As a 75 year old black woman artist working for 50 years in the industry, l find myself at a place where my living space is under duress. My rent has gone up 33% and l must relocate soon. I am sure that $25,000 would be helpful to any artist, but for me, it is primordial in the aggregate and l would do appreciate a lifeline at this time! I’m aware that artists are in this untenable position so, l simply say that it has always been the Grace of consciousness and energy that had gotten me this far
