I really enjoy creating murals, but my favorite type of art is painting on canvas with acrylics and making sculptures out of recycled cardboard—though it is very difficult to choose between them, as every art form possesses its own unique magic and charm.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration comes from everywhere—it comes from life itself, mostly when I speak with people: from the way they act, the way they speak, or the way they look at things. However, my greatest inspiration comes from my son—specifically from the way he views the world. We are both very spiritual, and in an unusual way, we are able to see beyond what the world typically teaches. Consequently, the majority of my art is deeply spiritual, cultural, and rich in symbolism.
What would you do with $25,000?If God and the universe were to grant me this opportunity to win this money, I would use it to set up a small business for my autistic son, enabling him to continue working from home and to feel a sense of purpose through his own merits. With the remainder, I would like to open a small studio to offer free art classes to young people and adults—a safe space for creativity, provided at no cost for as long as God allows. To date, I have suffered three heart attacks, yet I remain alive and continue
