Creating art to me is a thrilling experience, it's capturing that dream like scene you have haunting your thoughts and bringing it to life.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to create surreal and dystopian artwork, there's something about creating uncanny world's that are horrifying and yet draw you in. The entire process of creating a surreal piece is something magical. From sketching out that first glimpse you see from an idea to seeing it take shape on canvas. I use the human form mostly in my art and I love to twist the form until it feels disturbing. I have always loved to capture and create something that is unknown but yet familiar.
Where do you find inspiration? The inspiration that I have pulled from comes from horror movies and other dark minded artists. I love the uneasy feeling that a film can give you and the moment a creature or monster is unveiled. This leaves an unforgettable impression and to me is an exciting experience.
What would you do with $25,000?I would love to donate to local galleries or art related businesses. All artists deserve a chance to have their art exposed to the world.
