I believe I’m finally following Gods path for me. I believe at 60 years of age, it’s never too late. We need to use the gifts God gave us.

I love to paint on canvas . I use heavy body acrylics and strive for bright colours with good contrast with warms and cools . I love to draw . I use pencils , regular graphite and prismacolours. I combine oil pastels on my acrylic paintings . I paint landscapes , still life , flowers , trees , sky’s , buildings, houses , my children , and my husband says if you stay still long enough , I might put paint on you! Seriously, I love to paint soft , and use bright colours to make contrast. Every day
Where do you find inspiration?My environment. My home looks out over a plateau in Nl . We are surrounded by nature , it is amazing , beautiful, and raw. I also like to collect interesting things of character ( new and old ) and use them in my still life paintings. I try to paint stories from things I’ve learned , or things I’ve come to love. I visit places , woods paths , the ocean , parks. I take loads of reference photos. I try to go beyond my photos to put my own ideas on the canvas. I am always learning . It is love
What would you do with $25,000?I would pray to God to direct me . I’ve never won anything of substantial value in my life . I don’t have an extravagant lifestyle. It is very humble . I am now in a place in life where I can paint everyday . It is such a gift . I am blessed. I can’t imagine what God would tell me to do with it . I would ask him , if I had the money. I would listen , and then use it to do something good . It would be wonderful , joyful , perfect , divine . How exciting it would be to find out what his will is.
