Ever since I was about 9 or 10 years old I had a love for art. I was very shy, but my artwork was my way of communicating with others.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Honestly, I don’t have a favorite. Since a young age I didn’t like sticking to a single type of art to create, so I always had a wide range of styles, which allowed me to have a sense of creative freedom.
Where do you find inspiration?Whether it’s from music, nature, people, I get inspired by many things. I can find inspiration at any given moment, so I find myself having to write down or whip up a quick sketch of any new ideas I have throughout my day.
What would you do with $25,000?I would honestly love to put it towards my two daughter’s education. They are the reason I wake up every morning and go to work every day. After not making any art for years, getting back into it and seeing how happy my girls are for me when I’m working on a new painting means the world. Winning $25,000, I get to show them to never give up on your dreams. Oh yeah, I would also buy a few art supplies to keep the dream going.
