My favorite art to create is the participatory art experience. Through my public art project, EverybodyCanPaint, I design large-scale works painted by many hands. I orchestrate this collective co-authorship, bringing diverse expressions into a unified piece guided by my artistic direction. This process democratizes creativity wherever we work—transforming shared energy into connection, presence, and kinship.

I’m inspired by the world, the people in it, those who paint together with me, and the vibrant life between us. I connect to that energy as an ongoing source of creativity. I’ve come to realize that people have so much to say when given the space. Through my public art project, EverybodyCanPaint, I witness that energy expand as we create together—transforming personal expression into shared experience, connection, and belonging, creating a collective masterpiece, one brushstroke at a time.

I would take EverybodyCanPaint (EBCP) on the road, bringing participatory art installations to diverse and underserved communities across California & beyond. With a mobile art wall, supplies, and a small team, I would create immersive experiences inviting people of all backgrounds to contribute, bringing each work together into a unified piece guided by my artistic vision, while documenting the process to share beyond each location, culminating in an exhibition & a video capturing the stories.
