I love to create art because it keeps the devil at bay and is the only thing that truly makes me happy. I have been drawing all my life.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I’m a sequential artist at heart, driven by a love for classic comic book illustration. Pen and ink are where I feel most at home—crafting bold lines, deep shadows, and dynamic compositions. I focus on storytelling through panels, guiding the reader’s eye and building rhythm from page to page. For me, it’s not just about drawing—it’s about bringing stories to life through the timeless language of comics.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere. As a photographer, I’m always capturing unique structures and textures to use in my work. Those visuals often find their way into my art in different forms. I’m also heavily inspired by the artists and illustrators of 1970s horror and sci-fi comics, whose bold styles and atmospheric storytelling continue to influence my approach.
What would you do with $25,000?I’ve always dreamed of owning a warehouse and turning it into an artist consortium—a creative space where artists can collaborate, experiment, and build together. It would be open to photographers, painters, sculptors, 3D artists, and more, all sharing ideas and pushing each other to grow in a supportive, creative environment.
