Raised by artists, I create to bring ideas to life... capturing light, detail, and emotion in ways that feel real and immediate.

My favorite art form is photography, especially film. Shooting on film taught me patience and intention... there’s no instant feedback, only trust in what you saw and felt in the moment. I learned to see light, shadow, and emotion before pressing the shutter. That uncertainty made each image more meaningful. For me, photography is about capturing fleeting moments and turning them into something lasting, honest, and deeply personal.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from everyday life. Simple moments... like walking through a grocery store or being out in the world, where I’m always aware of light, shadow, and atmosphere. I notice how architecture changes throughout the day as light shifts the mood and feel of a space. I often imagine future photography projects in these places, planning how time of day and lighting could completely transform the same location.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in upgrading my photography equipment to match the way I see and work today. My lenses date back to the 1980s and 90s and my camera is over 20 years old, so modern sensors, better dynamic range, and low-light performance would expand what I can capture. I’d also upgrade studio lighting for high-speed sync and more control, plus durable travel gear so I can shoot on location. It would elevate my tools while keeping my film-trained eye.
