Art gives a voice to the parts of me that have no mouth. It’s how I express my imagination and dreams.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is a form of neo-surrealist psychedelic influenced oil paintings. I’ve been painting since a child, and as I’ve grown older, using surrealist techniques from the likes of Heironymus Bosch and Salvador Dali combined with a psychedelic flare have been my goal when creating.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in creation itself. Knowing that I have the ability to make something new, and put my touch into the world. I love to build upon ideas, concepts, phrases and even dreams, in order to create something unusual, weird, or just plain odd.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would invest it into my art, buying much needed supplies, studio equipment, and more. I would also put a good potion of it towards student loans, as I am currently at Boston University for a Master of Science in Arts Administration degree.
