Art should be treated as a sacrament, one that can be so intense it seems almost unholy, that reminds us the illusion is thin.

I like to create art that appears both ancient and alive. I like my art to move and breathe but also to corrode. Art is a mandala to me, art is an alter, I want my art to transcend wisdom and thought. To do this I create art with whatever I can. I paint with acrylics, spray paint, and oils, on canvas, rocks, or even old railroad spikes. I find driftwood and wood burn then with poems and secret messages.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration is a force. You do not find inspiration it finds you. And it finds me in both the most strange and the mundane of locations. From lichen and moss crawling across a gravestone to a two second doodle done out of boredom with no thought, you just have to be ready to ride inspiration through when it finds you.
What would you do with $25,000?I would set up a paint booth so that I could use spray paint in the winter. I would also make prints so that my work would be more available.
