acrylic painting on pants, jackets, and leather bags… also on canvas.
Where do you find inspiration?from my tired mind and wild imagination. growing up in the Philippines, we were made aware of mermaids being real at an early age. Sirena is the Spanish and Filipino word for mermaid… and I am named Rinna… si Rinna (That’s Rinna). So most of my earlier paintings are colorful mermaids under and out of the blue waters.
What would you do with $25,000?I would inspire and motivate other to get into painting to ezpress what they feel. I’ve atarted with a group of 5 seniors, twice a month , painting. They never consider themselves as painters but the motivation is there. I aupply all materials— and this is what I want to do should I win. Let’s gooooo!
