Painting is like writing a beautiful memoir, telling stories of life, penning a travelogue of the wonderful places I have been to
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love experimenting with different styles and visual languages, allowing each piece to evolve organically. My work is driven by capturing fleeting moments, emotions, atmosphere, and the essence of a place or experience rather than simply recreating what is seen.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere — in people around me, in nature, in the energy of Lisbon streets, the quiet charm of a Segovia alley, or the ever-changing Manhattan skyline. Every place, conversation, light, texture, and fleeting moment carries a story. I’m deeply inspired by the beauty, emotion, and imperfection of everyday life. Life is beautiful — and I love translating that feeling onto canvas.
What would you do with $25,000?Donate and build. I’d use the $25,000 to help my fellow artists dream bigger — creating bold new work, experimenting fearlessly, and bringing more immersive artistic experiences to life together. I’d also support artists in need and help promote art awareness, because art has the power to heal, connect, and inspire communities. Free workshops, free studio space and supplies to encourage creativity!
