I work across a lot of different mediums, but what really drives me is creating art that means something. The kind of pieces that hold emotion, memory, or story—memorials, tributes, engagement pieces, or even trench art for a veteran. If it touches someone’s heart, it pulls me in completely. That’s where I do my best work—when it’s not just art, but something deeply personal.
Where do you find inspiration?My biggest inspiration is my grandmother and my mom. Their positive outlook, persistence and creativity and support are why I love to create. They taught me to find inspiration everywhere—nature, people, history, and stories. Working across different mediums keeps me open to new ideas, and I bring those influences together to create something original and meaningful.
What would you do with $25,000?If awarded $25,000, I would use it to begin building a community art studio—a space where people of all ages can come to learn, create, and connect. My goal is to provide an environment where individuals can explore different mediums, discover their passions, and experience the joy of making something with their own hands. I am especially passionate about teaching younger generations traditional and hands-on art forms that are slowly being lost in an increasingly digital world. By sharing these
