My artistic style is one I’ve developed over the years to create something distinct and recognizable. It combines the dark, whimsical influence of Tim Burton, the surreal imagination of Dr. Seuss, and the bold, edgy character of Jamie Hewlett’s Gorillaz-era aesthetic. I fuse these inspirations with bright, bold colours, strong contrast, detailed compositions, and expressive linework. My work spans illustration, character design, graffiti, street art, abstract, and contemporary art.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration comes from everything I grew up on and what I continue to study—Dragon Ball Z, video games, and characters like Sonic the Hedgehog that carry energy and personality. I’ve always been drawn to the imagination of Dr. Seuss and the darker, stylized world of Tim Burton. Comics like Spider-Man, Batman, and Spawn influenced how I build characters, while Gorillaz and Jamie Hewlett pushed my visual style. What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would create a collaborative artist collective studio where creatives can work together on large-scale projects for festivals, events, and galleries. The space would include dedicated areas for painting, woodworking, tattooing, and clothing design, bringing multiple disciplines together. The goal is to build a strong creative community that supports collaboration, shared resources, and the production of impactful, large-scale work.
