Creating art is not something that I do. It is something I need as much as air, food and shelter.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
The work that I primarily have been doing for the last 9 years is a series called the Beautiful People. Which is dedicated to the homeless population.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from the fact that I was homeless in the 1980s. The streets are my world. I sit with my subjects and talk with them. They are not trash to be discarded. They are people like you and I.
What would you do with $25,000?10% would go to my local homeless center. The rest would help to get my message into the world.
