I like to create all types of art and use lots of different media. Favorites are Conceptual. When I'm doing my best work it is as though I’m not there at all. When that rare state of being happens, something flows through me. It must be a higher power because it has taken over my mind/body. I Don’t know if it's our collective unconscious, wavelengths, God, or angels. But I do thank God for the experience-it feels so amazing. &TyG24 the random objects and events in my life that become my art.
Where do you find inspiration?Artists current and past have some influence on my work, but it is my fellow humans that most inspire me. [I came back to edit this but found it too funny to change anything… as written it excludes artists from the rest of humanity!] It’s true I am moved by the people around me, they inspire me to share about myself through my work. And I try to make my work provocative in order to get your thoughts; an invitation for me to learn about you. I’m inspired by painters 1890 -1920.
What would you do with $25,000?This one’s easy! If I had $25,000 I would add it to my own modest savings and help my seriously disabled 25 year life partner buy a cottage near her brother on Merritt Island, Florida and convert it to a comfortable, paraplegic-friendly space for us to live in. Oh, if only…
