I use my photography to provide serenity and a sense of connection between us and nature, plus the enjoyment of textures in all things.

While nature photography holds a special place in my heart, I also find myself drawn to the striking geometry of architecture and, from time to time, the intriguing stories told by human subjects. This versatility allows me to explore a wide range of artistic expres-sions, adapting my eye and approach to whatever environment I find myself in. As a photographer, I strive to engage all my senses during each shoot, immersing myself fully in the present moment.
Where do you find inspiration?Having survived being hit by a car on my Harley in 2018 and a colon cancer surgery in October 2025, I work hard to find inspiration internally, drawing on my positive attitude and willingness to reinvent myself. Every day, one of the first things I do is give thanks for being here another day, and I look for something beautiful to be grateful for in that moment. Once that is done, I do my best to meet the day with 100% commitment to kindness and to being the best human I can be.
What would you do with $25,000?First, I would upgrade my camera body and 3 lenses.Second, I would upgrade my laptop. Third, and most importantly, as a lifelong seeker of knowledge, I would invest in my continuing education to enhance my photographic skills, with the goal of sharing my captures of nature to hopefully provide some small level of activism to preserve our forests, rivers, lakes, and oceans, in addition to our national and state parks. The primary goal would be to counter the corporate drive to destroy our planet
