I take artistic endeavors to enrich my life and others. It helps. Sometimes to make a cool looking image, sometimes to express or explore.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Paintings/drawings that help me navigate the world we're in. Things that describe why we have souls and why we need to connect to the souls of others. Lots of pop art images that we can license to ourselves regardless of legality. If we are to be bombarded with images for commerce then I have an obligation to use those images for my own commerce, plus make some cool mashed up shit!
Where do you find inspiration?Movies and history. Sometimes you just have to make something after you watch or read something inspiring. Being bored also helps! With a constant stream of content being forced upon you, the gift of boredom becomes a savior to the creative spirit. Look at a tree, it's boring? Doom scroll, it's not boring or fulfilling!
What would you do with $25,000?Pay some damn bills. Sign up for an advanced origami class. Have a new kind of waffle named after me. Tame an eagle and ride it into the wind. Get new toenails.
