In my mind I go to magical places where ultimate truths are manifested in all their complexity. With my hands I make them tangible for all.

I find joy in creating surreal sculpture with a folk art vibe. I liberate my vision by utilizing multiple mediums and incorporating storied found objects. I let nothing stand in the way of my vision whether it be an engineering problem or the limitations of mediums. I find my background as a commercial model maker is invaluable in solving problems.
Where do you find inspiration?I long ago left "Plato's Cave." Ultimate truths are rarely given, they must be searched for in violent storms and blinding fog. Only occasionally does the sun come out and give us a clear view. Then the earth shakes and we must start over. I am inspired by hard truths that I experience as revelation and the thought that my vision is worth sharing.
What would you do with $25,000?I am not a starving artist. But that is only because I generate income not doing art. The 25,000 would go very far in improving my work environment, promoting my art and exposing it to the general public. Canada is cold half the year and upgrading my work area so my fingers don't fall off would be helpful. Having time to energize my internet presence and pursue free publicity would open up a world of possibilities. I could then have an art show, not an exercise in vanity but a cultural event .
